When I met Juan Swart, he was a coach at Izotsha Primary School, where he was a teacher responsible for teaching and developing sport. He took such pride in his work there and developed strategies for developing all sports to be more organised and efficient. This included developing all sports for young athletes.

During the time I have known him, Juan has been active in our community serving in Athletics, Rugby and Soccer. He has taken many responsible roles in the community. His students/scholars/athletes achieved multiple success in sports.

Much of this had to do with his passion and love towards the athletes to achieve the best according to their ability. He is a good communicator, motivator and understand the LTPD of an athlete. He is humble and always willing to learn. Juan can be an asset to any sport organisation.
